Welcome to Risør in autumn. The pleasant Sørlandsbyen has a lot to offer even outside the summer season. Charming streets in one of Europe's most beautiful wooden towns, with many exciting niche shops, great hiking areas, fresh sea air and good food.
Our unique suites are created in historic wooden houses in the center of Risør. All have a theme that tells about the town's rich maritime history, all are decorated with quality furniture and good beds. Several also have a fireplace - perfect on a cosy autumn evening.
A delicious breakfast is served daily, which can also be delivered to your door on request.

Experience the beautiful Raet National Park by taking an exciting kayak trip to see all the seals that stay in the archipelago at Lyngør.
In double sit-on-top kayaks, we paddle quietly towards seal reefs to look at all the tens of seals that stay there. A simple hiking lunch is served along the way, and we paddle past beautiful Lyngør on the way.
Risør is known for the quality of its seafood, and one of our most popular offerings is to be served a delicious shellfish platter in the suite.
We set the table in your suite and serve dinner at the agreed time.
In the autumn we can also serve delicious locally caught lobster.

We recommend all guests to take the short walk up to white painted cliff called "Risørflekken". It is one of Southern Norway's oldest sailing navigation marks, with great views of Risør town, the harbour, Stangholmen lighthouse and the archipelago.
Take the trail further into Urheia, a beautiful nature area hiking trails, view points and two lakes with bathing areas.
Yes, there are shopping opportunities all over the world, but in Risør town centre there is hardly a single chain store, just small niche shops.
From handicrafts to clothing, jewellery to fishing rods, many people manage to spend hours just looking in the shops.
If you travel with a group of friends, it is possible to arrange a "private shopping" experience at some of the shops.
